shine.js can handle a dynamic light source, dropping shadows based on its position to the element, distance and light direction.
The effect can be static, applied only once at page load, or when its triggered later on, but it can also be rendered in real-time based on a light source movement pattern, and even tied in with the mouse cursor.
The library is framework agnostic, AMD compatible and can be applied to both text and regular page elements (box-based).
All browsers that support CSS 3 shadows will support shine.js
Examples are included with the shine.js download package.
